This joke is from the collection of PJs that I get mostly by forwarded mails or word of mouth. Many of the PJs have Indian specific orientation, and some of them are in Hindi.

Due to the nature of the PJ there is always a context in which it can be enjoyed. For the rest of us who are not in the right context there is a translation and context section below the joke. Who have missed the fun part do read that section for additional information.

Bus aaya, Kajol chali gayi, par Sharukh bus pe nahin chada. Kyon??

Answer: Kyonkieeeeee bus per likha tha ONLY VIMAL !!!!!

Question 4: Kadar Khan aur Shakti Kapoor dono bus stop pe khade the...

Bus aai aur Kadar Khan chad jata hai per Shakti Kapoor nahin jata.


Answer: Qyonkieeeeeee woh Shakti Kapoor dusri bus ke wait kar raha tha

Question 5: Amitabh aur Pran dono bus estop pe khade the...

bus aai aur Pran chad jata hai per Amitabh nahin jata.


Answer: Pran jaye per Bacchan na jaye

Question 6: Kapil Dev goes to the Echo point and shouts loudly "Pamolive".

But there is no echo sound.

Why ?

Answer: Because Palmolive ka jawab nahi !!


Origin, Context and Translation

Mayuri Kango, is the full name of actress Mayuri (of Papa Kehte Hain fame).

"Only Vimal" was the punchline for Vimal (now owned by Reliance) brand of Suiting and Shirtings.

"Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye" is a well known Hindi idiom meaning "Death before breaking promise".
Also there was a 1974 Hindi movie by the same name starring Sunil Dutt & Rekha.

"Palmolive ka jawab nahi" was the punch line for Pamolive brand of Shaving Cream in India with Kapil Dev endorsing it through a series of TV commercials.
